MotionXcellence Occupational Mechanics

MotionXcellence Occupational Mechanics features in-depth analysis to improve your gait, posture, and other elements of your biomechanics as they relate to your job.

Whether you are an "Industrial Athlete" suffering from an injury or an employer seeking Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCE) to ensure your staff is safe and able to perform up to their job description, our state-of-the-art technology and expertise in biomechanics allows us to evaluate your mechanics and improve your job-specific function to ensure you don't get hurt again!

The MotionXcellence Sports Performance Lab utilizes the latest computerized 3D motion capture technology, breaking your movements down into 120 slices per second (four times the resolution of other cameras). This allows us to accurately track each movement and most subtle details. The images are crystal clear, full-frame, and of the highest quality, making it easy for our experts to identify problems and suggest meaningful change.

Our in-depth analysis process takes approximately one hour. Reflective markers are strategically placed on key body locations. Our experts will watch your movement as our specialized high-speed cameras capture it all. A computer will precisely measure your movements and mechanics, reconstructing them into a graphic and pictorial report providing an objective measure for improvement. Read more about how it works

Our team of experts, including physicians, therapists, and trainers will work with you on all aspects of your recovery. Our Program Director, Dr. Phil Skiba, is not only a renowned expert in sports performance and biomechanics, but he also has experience in working with "Industrial Athletes". In fact, people working in physically demanding professions suffer the same kinds of injuries as Dr. Skiba's professional athletes.
