Utilize State-of-the-Art Technology in Recovery
MotionXcellence provides state-of-the-art testing and consultation services that are ideal to help manage and improve the mechanics of injured and disabled persons.
The MotionXcellence Sports Performance Lab utilizes the latest computerized 3D motion capture technology, breaking your motion down into hundreds of slices per second (up to four times the resolution of other cameras). This allows us to accurately track the fastest movements and most subtle details, including your entire range of movement. The images are crystal clear, full-frame, and of the highest quality, making it easy for our experts to see exactly what is happening with your form and function. Learn more about our technology.
Our experts will oversee your evaluation and take you through the process from beginning to end. Our Program Director, Dr. Phil Skiba, is renowned for his work in the area of endurance sports training and biomechanics. He comes from a background in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. During his time at National Rehabilitation Hospital / Georgetown University Hospital in Washington DC, he worked with people recovering from the most serious injuries imaginable, including a number of our young men and women wounded in the line of duty. He takes a special interest in working with people on the comeback trail, whether that involves "runner's knee", a traumatic amputation or post-stroke care.
